Eight students from five Victoria high schools have been selected for Team Canada at the 2026 FIRST Global Challenge, heading to Incheon, South Korea in October to compete against teams from more than 190 countries in an Olympic-style robotics event.

The Victoria delegation draws from St. Margaret's School, Mt. Douglas Secondary, Reynolds Secondary, Victoria High School, and École Victor-Brodeur, with skills spanning mechanical design, programming, electronics, and project management.
