On November 26th, MarineLabs celebrated the official grand opening of their new headquarters in Victoria, joined by partners, friends, and peers who have been a part of their journey in advancing coastal weather intelligence for maritime safety and efficiency.
They were honoured to welcome the Honourable David Eby, Premier of BC for a tour of the new space, and to host formal remarks from the Honourable Rick Glumac, Minister of State for AI and New Technologies; John Wilson, CEO, Pacific Pilotage Authority; Leann Collins, BSc, MBA, ICD.D, Director of Projects and Stakeholder Relations, ABCMI; and Dan Gunn, CEO, VIATEC.
From their LinkedIn: "It was incredible to see our new space filled with partners, marine and tech professionals, and long-time supporters. ✨ Thanks for celebrating with us. ✨ And a special thank-you to the MarineLabs team — your work and commitment made this milestone and momentum possible."
Their new HQ at 2100 Douglas Street will anchor (pun intended) Canadian ocean-tech innovation and strengthen the collaborations that move this work forward.
