The role
Help us drive business growth as a dynamic Inside Sales Representative (ISR), where you'll identify and engage potential customers through multiple channels while managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. In this role, you'll conduct compelling product demonstrations, build lasting customer relationships, and collaborate with a Regional Sales Manager to meet ambitious sales targets while maintaining meticulous CRM documentation and deal hygiene.
Employment Type: Full-time permanent employee
Location: In-Office
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (occasional evenings, weekends and travel may be required due to the nature of the role)
Reports to: Director of Revenue
Salary range: $50,000 CAD base plus commissions
What you’ll do
• Identify and reach out to potential customers through proactive outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
• Conduct in-person and/or virtual product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits.
• Qualify leads based on established criteria and prioritize opportunities for the sales pipeline.
• Create, qualify, and close opportunities in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager
• Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Go the extra mile to engage customers after installation, cultivating repeat business
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and effectively communicating the value of our products or services.
• Document and update customer information in the CRM system to track sales activities and progress.
• Maintain deal hygiene and ensure efficient sales support with vendor registrations and RFQs
• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and KPI targets.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Manage and qualify all in-bound customer communications received via email, calls and chat. Enter net new into CRM or delegate accordingly to the right territory representative or department.
• Create and enter order entry for your territory
• Other duties as required.
What you bring
• 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience (or equivalent)
• Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding “Sales” targets while working in a team-based environment
• Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
• Self-motivation with a proactive business development mindset
