FabStation is a software platform for manufacturing and fabrication that utilizes augmented reality (AR) and cloud-based tools to enhance accuracy, speed, and efficiency on the shop floor. FabStation uses 3D model software outputs (such as SDS2, Tekla, SolidWorks, etc.) and enables teams to view them as full-scale holograms on AR headsets (HoloLens) or tablets. Workers can overlay these digital models onto physical assemblies to quickly identify errors, verify measurements, and ensure parts are built correctly before leaving the shop, thereby reducing rework by up to 75%.
