TEDxVictoria is now accepting speaker applications for its 2026 event, taking place October 7 at UVic’s Farquhar Auditorium. As part of the global TEDx program, the event brings bold, locally shaped ideas to a live audience and a worldwide stage via the official TEDx YouTube channel. Organizers are inviting founders, researchers, creatives, educators, technologists, and community leaders from across Vancouver Island (and beyond) to apply.

The curation team is looking for bold, original ideas shaped by life and work in our region—talks that focus on one clear, compelling idea and offer fresh perspective.

You don’t need to be a professional speaker—just an authentic voice with one clear idea worth spreading. Selected speakers receive coaching and presentation support.
